Rehabilitation Manager
Our client, a leading PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) provider, is seeking a full-time Rehabilitation Manager to lead their outpatient rehab team in San Bernardino, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PT or OT ready to step into a leadership role, overseeing the delivery of physical, occupational, and speech therapy programs for a frail, elderly participant population.

Required Experience
Qualified candidates should have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical or Occupational Therapy
- 5 years of demonstrated rehabilitation experience
- 2 years of rehab management/leadership experience overseeing PT and OT teams (required); additional experience strongly preferred
- 5 years of geriatric experience, required
- Physical/Occupational Therapy knowledge and experience necessary to treat frail, elderly participants with complex needs
- CPR and First Aid certification upon hire preferred (must be obtained within 180 days of hire if not already held, and maintained thereafter)
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have:
- Active CA Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist license, in good standing
- Ability to commute to or reside near San Bernardino, CA 92414
- Ability to work a full-time, in-person schedule
- Strong knowledge of regulatory statutes and rules governing the practice of rehabilitation services
- Commitment to compliance with all professional, clinical, state, and federal regulatory standards
Key Responsibilities
In this role, the Rehabilitation Manager will be responsible for:
- Coordinating the policies, objectives, initiatives, and programs for delivery of rehabilitation therapy, including speech therapy, across the Rehab Team
- Overseeing the performance of rehabilitation therapy staff, along with business planning and budget development for the rehab department
- Providing program knowledge, analytical leadership, and administrative guidance in the day-to-day management of therapy programs
- Ensuring the team assists participants and therapists in preparation for appointments
- Overseeing the team carrying out treatment programs predetermined for each participant and delegated by supervising therapists
- Managing contract oversight of speech therapy services as needed
- Regularly communicating with the Center Director and Clinical Services Director on strategic staffing needs, facility changes, and procedures/policies
- Conducting home visits as needed to oversee therapy services in the home, equipment set-up, or provide in-person home treatments
- Guiding and directing the work of others, and treating participants directly within scope of practice when necessary
- Assuring all services are delivered in compliance with professional, clinical, and regulatory standards
