Job Description
Foodservice Equipment & Supplies – Manufacturer’s Representative
Denver and surrounding areas | Full-Time | Territory-Based
Denver’s Foodservice Market Is Growing. Be the Name Everyone Already Knows.
The Greater Denver market is one of the most dynamic foodservice markets in the country — independent operators, regional chains, major hospitality groups, healthcare systems, and a booming construction pipeline that keeps consultants and dealers busy year-round. We’re an established multi-line manufacturer’s rep agency with deep roots in the Rocky Mountain region, and we’re looking for a sharp, relationship-driven sales professional to own and grow our Denver territory.
This isn’t an entry-level role. We’re looking for someone who already has a seat at the table with dealers, consultants, and end users across the metro — and who wants the platform, the line card, and the support to take those relationships further.
What You’ll Do
Work the Dealer Channel. You’ll be a daily presence with the E&S dealers that serve the Denver market — building relationships with counter staff, inside sales teams, and dealer principals alike. You’ll conduct product training, run line reviews, support quotes and projects, and make sure our brands are the ones dealers reach for first.
Engage Foodservice Consultants & Designers. You’ll maintain active, trusted relationships with the foodservice design consultants, kitchen designers, and FCSI members who specify equipment for new construction and remodel projects across the region. Getting our products into the spec early — and protecting them through bid and award — is a core part of how you’ll drive revenue.
Pursue End Users & Chain Accounts. You’ll identify and develop relationships with restaurant groups, hospitality operators, healthcare systems, education accounts, and multi-unit chain operators active in the Denver market. You’ll coordinate with dealers and factory support teams to move opportunities from interest to purchase order.
Drive Project Pursuit. You’ll track active construction and remodel projects across the territory — from design firm through GC, dealer, and end user — and work every angle to maximize our share of the equipment package.
Represent the Lines You’ll be the face of our manufacturer partners in the market — conducting product demonstrations, delivering training, attending dealer events and open houses, and representing the agency at trade shows and regional industry events.
Stay Sharp on the Market. You’ll feed the agency and our manufacturer partners with timely intelligence on competitive activity, pricing pressure, emerging accounts, and shifts in the local channel. Your field perspective is genuinely valuable — we’ll use it.
What You Bring
Required:
- 3+ years of outside sales experience in commercial foodservice equipment and supplies, with direct experience in the E&S dealer channel
- Established, active relationships with foodservice E&S dealers, design consultants, and/or end users in the Greater Denver market — candidates must be able to speak specifically to who they’re calling on today
- Solid understanding of the commercial foodservice channel: how dealers buy, how consultants spec, how projects flow from design to installation
- Self-directed and disciplined — you manage your own calendar, your own pipeline, and your own results
- Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and virtual meeting platforms
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and comfort with regular local travel plus occasional overnight travel for trade shows and manufacturer events
- Strong presentation and communication skills across all audiences — from counter staff to corporate procurement
Preferred:
- Familiarity with regional buying groups and their influence on the Denver dealer market
- Active involvement with FCSI, MAFSI, or other industry associations
- Experience managing multiple manufacturer lines simultaneously in a rep agency environment
- Existing relationships with regional chain accounts or multi-unit operators active in Greater Colorado
Who Thrives in This Role?
You’re a natural relationship builder who also knows how to close. You don’t wait for inbound leads — you’re already in the market, already in the conversations, already the person dealers call when a project lands. You’re organized enough to manage a complex project pipeline and personable enough that customers actually want to see you coming. You take ownership of your territory like it’s your own business, because in many ways, it is.
What’s In It For You
- Competitive compensation — base salary plus commission structure tied to territory performance, or commission-only draw structure depending on experience and preference
- A strong, well-curated line card with brands that are easy to sell and backed by real factory support
- An established agency infrastructure — marketing support, inside sales backup, and management who has actually done this job
- Flexibility and autonomy to run your territory your way
- Expenses covered: mileage/car allowance, T&E, and industry event costs
- A market — Denver — that is genuinely growing and genuinely underserved by reps who show up consistently
