SALES MANAGER – INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT

Our client is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and develop a high-performing sales team within the industrial air compressor industry.

Required Experience
Qualified candidates should have:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial sales, preferably within the air compressor industry
- Previous experience managing or mentoring sales professionals preferred
- Proven success in achieving revenue growth and sales performance objectives
- Strong understanding of industrial compressed air systems and related equipment
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Experience building and maintaining long-term customer relationships
- Strong business development and territory management experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and CRM systems
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have:
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a sales team in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Strong customer service and consultative sales abilities
- Ability to analyze sales performance metrics and develop growth strategies
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed
- Professional communication and presentation abilities
Key Responsibilities
In this role, the Sales Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading and managing the daily activities of the sales department
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to support revenue and profitability goals
- Coaching, mentoring, and supporting sales representatives throughout the assigned market
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships with industrial and commercial accounts
- Supporting business development initiatives and identifying new market opportunities
- Monitoring sales performance, forecasting, and operational metrics
- Collaborating with service, operations, and leadership teams to ensure customer satisfaction and operational success
- Assisting with major account development, customer presentations, and contract negotiations
- Maintaining knowledge of industry trends, competitive products, and market conditions
- Professionally representing the organization during customer meetings, industry events, and business development activities
