Job Description

Senior Process / Manufacturing Engineer — Appliances

[

Build the equipment that runs the world's kitchens.

Our client is growing, we're investing in our plant, and we're looking for a Senior Process/Manufacturing Engineer who wants real ownership of how our products get built — not a seat in a cube running reports nobody reads.

This is the person the plant floor listens to. You'll own the manufacturing processes end-to-end, drive cost and quality improvements that impact the P&L, and have the autonomy (and the budget) to actually make change happen.

What you'll do

You'll own the manufacturing processes for our foodservice equipment lines — from sheet-metal fabrication, welding, forming, and finishing through final assembly and test. You'll lead continuous improvement and lean initiatives that reduce cycle time, scrap, and costs while increasing quality and throughput. You'll design and justify tooling, fixtures, and workcell layouts, bring new products from engineering into full-rate production, and partner daily with design engineering, quality, supply chain, and operators to solve the problems that slow the line down. You'll also mentor junior engineers and technicians and serve as the technical voice on capital equipment and automation decisions.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent hands-on track record), plus [7+] years of process/manufacturing engineering experience in a metal-fabrication or discrete-manufacturing environment — foodservice equipment, appliances, HVAC, or similar sheet-metal products strongly preferred. You know Lean and Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt a plus), you're fluent with CAD/CAM and process documentation, and you're comfortable with fabrication equipment (laser, punch, press brake, welding, powder coat). Most of all, you're a floor-first engineer who'd rather be solving a bottleneck at the machine than emailing about it.

Why this role

Real ownership and visibility to leadership — your wins show up on the P&L, not in a slide deck. A company that's investing in new equipment and capacity, so you'll have modern tools and a mandate to improve. Stability of an established brand with the momentum of a growing one. And a competitive package: [base range], [bonus], [relocation assistance], and full benefits including GREAT MULTI-BILLION INDUSTRY LEADER. GREAT BENEFITS. GREAT TEAM!
