Job Description
Finance Manager
We are seeking a strategic, detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead financial planning, reporting, analysis, and operational finance activities that support sound business decision-making and long-term growth. This role is ideal for a hands-on finance leader who can manage budgets and forecasts, improve processes and controls, partner with business leaders, and provide clear financial insights across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and month-end or periodic reporting processes to support organizational performance and informed decision-making.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, management reports, variance analyses, and key performance indicators to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with department leaders and senior management to develop budgets, monitor financial performance, and support strategic planning initiatives.
• Manage cash flow planning, working capital, and financial projections to help ensure financial stability and operational efficiency.
• Oversee or support accounting and finance operations, including reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, and related financial processes as required for the business.
• Develop, maintain, and strengthen internal controls, financial policies, reporting standards, and process documentation to support compliance and accuracy.
• Support audits, tax-related coordination, regulatory reporting, and external stakeholder requests by preparing accurate financial information and documentation.
• Evaluate financial performance, cost drivers, and business initiatives, and provide recommendations to improve profitability, efficiency, and resource allocation.
• Lead, mentor, or support finance team members as applicable, helping to prioritize work, improve processes, and maintain reporting deadlines.
• Promote a high standard of integrity, accountability, accuracy, and business partnership in all financial activities and communications.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred in some organizations.
• Previous experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, financial reporting, or a related function required; prior management or team leadership experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, financial statements, internal controls, and business finance operations.
• Ability to interpret financial data, identify trends and risks, build reports or models, and communicate recommendations clearly to business leaders.
• Experience with accounting systems, ERP platforms, spreadsheets, reporting tools, and standard business software required.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements, audit support, and financial policies or procedures is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, CFA, or other finance-related credentials may be preferred depending on the organization and role scope.
