SERVICE MANAGER – COMPRESSORS

Required Experience

Qualified candidates should have:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial compressor service, maintenance, or related industrial equipment industries
• Previous experience managing or supervising field service technicians preferred
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities
• Experience scheduling, coordinating, and supporting field service operations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational, leadership, and time management abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and service management software systems
• A strong history of maintaining customer relationships and supporting operational excellence

Required Qualifications

Candidates must have:

• Ability to lead and motivate a team of field service technicians
• Strong understanding of industrial compressed air systems and related equipment
• Ability to prioritize service schedules, emergency calls, and customer requests effectively
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to professionally represent the company in customer-facing environments
• Commitment to workplace safety and safe service practices

Key Responsibilities

In this role, the Service Manager will be responsible for:

• Managing daily operations of the compressor service department and field technician team
• Coordinating technician schedules, service calls, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs
• Supporting technicians with troubleshooting, technical guidance, and customer issue resolution
• Maintaining strong relationships with customers through responsive communication and service support
• Monitoring department performance, productivity, and service quality standards
• Assisting with hiring, training, mentoring, and performance development of service technicians
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards, company policies, and operational procedures
• Collaborating with sales, parts, and operations teams to support customer needs and business growth
• Managing service documentation, work orders, and operational reporting requirements
• Supporting the continued growth of service business opportunities, maintenance agreements, and customer retention efforts
