Job Description
Clinical Healthcare Nurse
We are seeking compassionate, skilled nursing professionals who are committed to delivering exceptional patient care across clinical healthcare settings. This role may support outpatient, specialty, primary care, and other patient-facing clinical environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct nursing care, patient assessments, and clinical support in accordance with established standards of care, policies, and provider direction.
• Monitor patient conditions, document findings accurately, and communicate changes in status to providers and appropriate members of the care team.
• Administer medications, treatments, injections, and other clinical interventions safely and accurately within scope of practice.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, follow-up care, preventive health practices, and self-management strategies.
• Coordinate care with physicians, advanced practice providers, medical assistants, specialists, and other interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes.
• Support triage activities, appointment readiness, patient flow, and timely response to clinical questions, refill requests, or follow-up needs.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete medical records in the electronic health record system while protecting patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, including applicable state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Assist with clinical procedures, specimen collection, care coordination, and patient outreach as needed in support of practice operations.
• Promote a patient-centered, respectful, and collaborative care environment that reflects professionalism, empathy, and accountability.
Qualifications
• Active and unrestricted nursing license required, such as Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), based on role and location.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required; associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred where applicable.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional clinical certifications may be preferred depending on the practice setting.
• Previous clinical nursing experience in ambulatory care, outpatient services, physician practice, specialty care, or related healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, patient assessment, documentation, communication, and care coordination skills required.
• Experience with electronic health records, patient education, medication administration, and regulatory compliance preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism, compassion, attention to detail, and patient confidentiality.
