Staff Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled Staff Nurse to provide direct patient care and support positive clinical outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role is ideal for a licensed nursing professional who can assess patient needs, administer medications and treatments, document care accurately, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment in accordance with clinical standards and care plans.

• Administer medications, treatments, injections, and other nursing interventions safely and accurately within scope of practice and organizational policy.

• Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing care plans based on patient assessments, provider orders, and changes in condition.

• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and deliver patient care.

• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, discharge instructions, preventive care, and self-management strategies.

• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition, urgent care needs, and emergency situations using sound clinical judgment and established protocols.

• Perform and assist with procedures, specimen collection, wound care, patient preparation, and other clinical tasks as assigned.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in the electronic health record while protecting patient privacy and confidentiality.

• Support infection prevention, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance by following organizational policies, nursing standards, and applicable healthcare requirements.

• Promote a respectful, patient-centered care environment that reflects professionalism, empathy, accountability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required; associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred depending on the role and setting.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS, PALS, or specialty certifications may be preferred depending on unit or patient population.

• Previous clinical nursing experience in acute care, inpatient, outpatient, specialty, or related healthcare settings preferred.

• Strong patient assessment, clinical judgment, documentation, communication, and care coordination skills required.

• Experience with electronic health records, medication administration, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration preferred.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism, empathy, attention to detail, and patient confidentiality.

• Physical ability to perform nursing duties, including standing, walking, lifting, assisting patients, and responding quickly to clinical needs, may be required.

Work is typically performed on-site and may involve day, evening, night, weekend, holiday, or rotating shifts, as well as prolonged standing, patient lifting, and exposure to clinical and fast-paced care environments.
