Sr Sales Manager – New Business Development
Commercial Kitchen Equipment • British Columbia, Canada
Full-time • Field-based / Hybrid • Base salary + commission
A well-established and growing company in the commercial kitchen equipment industry — with a strong presence across Canada and a solid ownership structure — is accelerating its growth in British Columbia. To strengthen our market presence with key specifiers and strategic customers, we are seeking a Senior Sales Representative with deep market knowledge and an established network in the B.C. commercial kitchen equipment industry.
The Role
You will be primarily responsible for developing NEW business opportunities across British Columbia, working closely with an existing sales representative covering the territory. This is a hybrid role with a strong focus on new business development and market expansion, without direct responsibility for managing existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop new strategic accounts across British Columbia
• Build and expand relationships with consultants, kitchen designers, and specification firms
• Drive business development with chain and institutional customers, grocery banners, and high-potential end users
• Actively solicit and develop relationships with the head offices of national chains established in B.C.
• Support and collaborate with existing sales representatives in the territory
• Participate in specification processes and institutional / chain tenders
• Maintain a strong field presence and build long-term business relationships
• Contribute to the overall growth strategy and market positioning in B.C.
What You Bring
• 10+ years of experience in commercial kitchen equipment sales
• Background ideally as a manufacturer or importer sales representative
• Strong knowledge of the British Columbia market
• An established, active network with consultants, designers, chains, and institutional decision-makers
• Highly autonomous and results-driven, able to manage complex sales cycles
• Strong credibility in a field-based, relationship-driven sales environment
Assets
• Experience selling into complex, multi-stakeholder projects
• Collaborative mindset and the ability to work closely with internal teams

• Measurable increase in market share in British Columbia
• Significant contribution to revenue growth, with the objective of doubling revenue in the territory
• A strong, qualified pipeline of new customers and strategic projects
• Enhanced visibility and recognition with key specifiers and market influencers
