Director of Pharmacy & Nutrition Support – Massachusetts

Required Experience

  • At least five years in a pharmacy supervisory capacity
  • Two to three years serving as an Assistant Director of Pharmacy within an organization with a residency program through the PGY2 level in Pharmacy Administration

Required Qualifications

  • PharmD from an accredited U.S. school of pharmacy
  • Active pharmacy license (or eligibility to obtain one by start date) in the state of practice
  • Excellent communication and teaching abilities
  • Preferred: advanced business or health administration degree (MS/MBA/MHA/MPH or equivalent)

Key Responsibilities

  • Set the strategic and operational direction for all clinical, regulatory, and operational pharmacy functions
  • Champion compliance excellence across state and federal pharmacy regulations and accrediting bodies
  • Build and develop a high-performing team through hiring, coaching, and professional growth
  • Own departmental budgeting, purchasing, and inventory control with an eye toward smart innovation
  • Lead formulary strategy and medication-use policy development
  • Serve as a driving voice on multidisciplinary and Pharmacy & Therapeutics committees
  • Stand as the go-to expert on controlled substances and regulatory matters
  • Shape and elevate postgraduate residency programs and pharmacy student training
