  • Relocation assistance

  • A real voice in formulary decisions, regimen review, Epic and Alaris builds, Infusion P&T and medication safety
  • Regular opportunities to precept pharmacy residents and students
  • A collaborative, multidisciplinary team that values your clinical judgment

What you'll do

  • Serve as the clinical pharmacy resource for a busy outpatient infusion service caring for oncology and non-oncology patients
  • Review regimens and orders, resolve medication issues and recommend safe, evidence-based, cost-conscious therapy
  • Develop and maintain treatment pathways, clinical protocols and order sets
  • Lead formulary assessment for infusion therapies and contribute to P&T, MUEs and REMS programs
  • Oversee safe handling and preparation of hazardous drugs, including chemotherapy
  • Partner with Medication Safety to prevent adverse drug events
  • Educate patients, families, nurses and providers, and support transitions of care
  • Precept residents and students, and represent pharmacy during regulatory surveys

What you'll bring

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
  • One of the following:
  • PGY1 residency plus one year of clinical experience
  • Oncology PGY2 residency
  • Three to five years of oncology experience
  • Active Georgia pharmacist license, or eligibility for licensure
