Healthcare Administrator
We are seeking an organized, strategic Healthcare Administrator to oversee day-to-day operations and support high-quality patient services in a healthcare environment. This role is ideal for a leader who can coordinate administrative functions, manage staff and resources, ensure regulatory compliance, support financial performance, and collaborate with clinical and operational teams to improve efficiency and patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily administrative and operational activities within a healthcare facility, department, clinic, or practice to support efficient and compliant service delivery.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, workflows, and administrative processes to help maintain smooth operations and a positive patient experience.
• Support budgeting, resource planning, expense monitoring, and financial reporting activities to help ensure operational effectiveness and fiscal responsibility.
• Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and process improvements that support quality care, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare laws, accreditation standards, privacy requirements, and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with clinical leaders, providers, department managers, and support teams to address operational needs, patient service concerns, and performance goals.
• Monitor key operational metrics, patient service indicators, staffing needs, and administrative outcomes, and prepare reports or recommendations as needed.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, supervision, and performance support for administrative or operational staff as applicable.
• Support vendor coordination, facility needs, records management, billing or registration workflows, and other administrative functions depending on organizational needs.
• Promote a professional, patient-centered, and service-oriented environment that supports strong communication, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public health, health services management, or a related field preferred; advanced degree may be preferred depending on role scope.
• Previous experience in healthcare administration, clinic operations, practice management, hospital operations, patient services, or a related healthcare leadership role preferred.
• Strong understanding of healthcare operations, regulatory requirements, compliance standards, privacy practices, and patient service processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, support operational workflows, analyze performance, and communicate effectively across departments.
• Experience with healthcare information systems, electronic records, scheduling systems, reporting tools, spreadsheets, and standard business software preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and service quality.
• Experience with budgeting, staffing support, policy implementation, and process improvement is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as FACHE, CMPE, or other healthcare administration credentials may be preferred depending on the organization and role scope.
