Job Description
Human Resources Manager
We are seeking a strategic, people-focused Human Resources Manager to lead core HR functions that support employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and business performance. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who can oversee recruitment, employee relations, performance management, policy administration, compliance, and team development while serving as a trusted partner to leadership and employees.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage day-to-day human resources activities, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, policy administration, and HR operations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and programs that support business goals, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
• Partner with leadership and managers to support workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee development, succession planning, and organizational needs.
• Provide guidance on employee relations matters, performance issues, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns while promoting fair and consistent practices.
• Oversee recruiting and hiring processes, including job postings, interview coordination, candidate selection support, and onboarding activities.
• Support compensation, benefits administration, leave processes, and other employee programs in accordance with company practices and applicable regulations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, workplace regulations, internal policies, and required HR documentation standards.
• Monitor HR metrics, staffing trends, retention, performance outcomes, and employee feedback, and prepare reports or recommendations as needed.
• Support training, coaching, change management, and employee communication efforts that strengthen culture and organizational performance.
• Promote a professional, inclusive, and employee-centered work environment that reflects integrity, accountability, and strong people leadership.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, organizational development, psychology, or a related field preferred; advanced degree may be preferred depending on role scope.
• Previous experience in human resources, employee relations, talent acquisition, HR operations, people management, or a related HR leadership role required.
• Strong understanding of employment law, HR policies, compliance requirements, performance management, employee relations, and workplace best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, support leaders and employees effectively, and handle sensitive or confidential matters with professionalism and discretion.
• Experience with HRIS platforms, applicant tracking systems, reporting tools, spreadsheets, and standard business software preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence and sound judgment.
• Experience with recruiting, onboarding, policy implementation, employee engagement, and change management is preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or other HR credentials may be preferred depending on the organization and role scope.
