Director of Pharmacy & Nutrition Support – Massachusetts
The Opportunity

Required Experience
- At least five years in a pharmacy supervisory capacity
- Two to three years serving as an Assistant Director of Pharmacy within an organization with a residency program through the PGY2 level in Pharmacy Administration
Required Qualifications
- PharmD from an accredited U.S. school of pharmacy
- Active pharmacy license (or eligibility to obtain one by start date) in the state of practice
- Excellent communication and teaching abilities
- Preferred: advanced business or health administration degree (MS/MBA/MHA/MPH or equivalent)
Key Responsibilities
- Set the strategic and operational direction for all clinical, regulatory, and operational pharmacy functions
- Champion compliance excellence across state and federal pharmacy regulations and accrediting bodies
- Build and develop a high-performing team through hiring, coaching, and professional growth
- Own departmental budgeting, purchasing, and inventory control with an eye toward smart innovation
- Lead formulary strategy and medication-use policy development
- Serve as a driving voice on multidisciplinary and Pharmacy & Therapeutics committees
- Stand as the go-to expert on controlled substances and regulatory matters
- Shape and elevate postgraduate residency programs and pharmacy student training
