Surgical Services, Nurse Manager – Southern CA

The Opportunity Take the lead of a high-performing surgical services team at a thriving, growing hospital in Southern California! We're searching for a dynamic Nurse Manager to step into a pivotal leadership role over the OR and its full surrounding continuum, pre-op testing, the surgical suite, PACU, anesthesia, endoscopy, and sterile processing. Required Experience

• 3-5 years as a Registered Nurse working directly in perioperative/surgical services within an acute care setting, required
• 3-5 years leading or supervising a perioperative team in acute care, strongly preferred

Required Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN a plus
• Active RN license in the state of employment
• Current BLS/CPR
• Current ACLS
• Current PALS (or within three months of start)
• AORN membership a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Own scheduling and daily operations across pre-op, surgical, recovery, anesthesia, endoscopy, and sterile processing
• Coach, develop, and evaluate a talented nursing team
• Partner cross-functionally to keep the surgical unit running at its best
