Required Experience Qualified candidates should have:

• Minimum Associate of Science in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program
• Current, active Florida PTA license — required at time of application
• CPR Certification — required
• Experience in skilled nursing, geriatrics, orthopedics, or acute care settings preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and various treatment modalities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, time management, and computer/technology skills

Required Qualifications Candidates must have:

• Active Florida PTA license in good standing
• Ability to commute to or reside near St Petersburg, FL 33713
• Ability to work a full-time 40-hour schedule, Monday–Friday
• Strong documentation habits with the ability to accurately track and report patient progress
• Commitment to compliance with all company policies and applicable state and federal regulations

Key Responsibilities In this role, the Physical Therapist Assistant will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with licensed Physical Therapists to develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans
• Assisting patients with therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility, strength, and pain management
• Conducting resident screenings as scheduled and contributing objective data to the supervising Physical Therapist within scope of practice
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress accurately during therapy sessions
• Educating patients and their families on at-home exercises and self-care techniques
• Providing physical therapy treatment to residents per the established plan of care
• Supporting patient care across areas including geriatrics, orthopedics, acute care, and occupational health
• Actively contributing to the success of the rehab department, interdisciplinary team, and overall facility outcomes
