Clinical Pharmacy Specialist – Outpatient Infusion/Oncology - North Georgia

The Opportunity

A respected, community-focused health system in North Georgia is seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to join its Outpatient Infusion/Oncology team. This is a highly collaborative role for a pharmacist who wants to practice at the top of their license — driving pharmacotherapy decisions, shaping treatment protocols, and precepting the next generation of pharmacists, all without the demands of a rotating inpatient schedule.

Required Experience

• PGY1 pharmacy residency (required)
• Experience in oncology, infusion, or antimicrobial stewardship strongly preferred

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
• Active or eligible state pharmacy board licensure
• Strong clinical judgment and interpersonal communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pharmacotherapy consultation for infusion and oncology patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on individualized treatment plans
• Identify and resolve medication-related problems through rounds and profile review
• Support antimicrobial stewardship compliance and interventions
• Precept residents and pharmacy students; contribute to residency programming
• Serve on P&T and disease-state committees; develop treatment pathways and order sets
