Nurse Manager, Emergency Department (RN), Days - Riverside County, California


Compensation: $140,000 – $190,000


The Opportunity

An acute-care hospital in Riverside County, California is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead its Emergency Department on day shift. This is a well-established ED within a full-service community hospital known for its pediatric emergency capabilities, dedicated OB/ED coverage, and a busy childbirth center with an on-site NICU. This is a strong opportunity for a nursing leader who wants to make a direct impact on department operations, staff development, and patient care quality in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.

Required Experience

  • 3–5 years of clinical experience in Emergency or Critical Care nursing
  • 1–2 years of nursing management or supervisory experience in an Emergency Department setting strongly preferred


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required; Master's degree preferred
  • Current California RN license
  • Current BLS/CPR certification (AHA)
  • Current ACLS certification (AHA)
  • Current PALS certification (AHA)
  • CEN or CCRN preferred
  • MICN and TNCC preferred


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of Emergency Department nursing staff and operations
  • Support a safe, patient-first care environment across a high-volume, high-acuity ED
  • Partner with physician and system leadership to drive quality outcomes and operational performance
  • Mentor and develop staff through structured leadership and clinical education pathways
  • Contribute to department-level planning, staffing, and continuous improvement initiatives
